The First Musketeer - The Adventure Continues
Location, location, location ... and smoke.
The First Musketeer is well under way with its filming schedule in the south of France. More ID crew have come over whilst others have wrapped and headed back to the UK to continue work on some of our other projects.
We have visited many amazing locations from vineyards and chateaus to castles. They (who ever they are?) say location is key and I think they are right. The sets are all authentic and combined with some cleaver set dressing from the art department its as if we are really living back in the days of the musketeers.
Some of the locations for the series include Rocamadour, Midi-Pyrenees, Chateau De Losse, Chateau de Fumel and Château de Bonaguil.
What we have learnt from the project so far is that director Harriet Sams loves smoke. Yep, every opportunity to get the smoke machine out is taken. Combined with some clever lighting it's helping create some great atmospheric shots and we are really looking forward to seeing the final product.
