The Rise and Fall of the Krays
They were know as some of London's most violent criminals and the violence plays a major role in the films.
Split into two feature length dramas (The Rise of The Krays and The Fall of The Krays) these films will follow the lives of the infamous London gangster twins from their early years to their final conviction at the age of 36. They were know as some of London's most violent criminals and the violence plays a major role in the films - not to glamorise or to shock, but to show the truth of what actually went on in this underground world. And that's where we come in!
ID Fight Co-ordinator Dan Styles was brought in to co-ordinate all the violence in the films as well as cast many of the main and featured fighting roles. The violence ranged from stabbings and shootings to full on pub brawls and there were plenty.
Dan brought in 29 people on to the film, Ronin covered some scenes while 26 of those were fighting roles brought in from the ID fight team, students & associates, and many of them were speaking roles and/or featured characters in the story.
The films were shot in and around the East End of London - the Krays' own territory - and are due for release in May 2015.
They were both directed by Zackary Adler, and produced by Ken Brown, Sebastian Brown and Craig Tuohy.
From what we have seen the footage looks great so we're very excited about seeing the finished picture. We'd like to thank all those who came on board to work on these films you all did a great job and did us proud.
