Ancient Black Ops
It's not that common to get fight work on period pieces (at least not for film & TV), and even less common for historical Eastern productions, so we were thrilled to be asked to co-ordinate the fights and battles on two episodes of the Ancient Black Ops series for the Yesterday Channel.

One follows the Shinobi Ninja of 16th century Japan; their brush with Oda Nobukatsu and near annihilation from his father Oda Nobunaga, then their employment under, future shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu. The other tells the story of the 47 Ronin who bravely went undercover to eventually kill the man responsible for their master's death and subsequently entered the Japanese history books as one of the greatest stories of loyalty, duty, honor and revenge.

ID Fight Co-ordinator Dan Styles co-ordinated the team made up by 5 ID fighters, a Samurai re-enactment team, a ninjitsu martial arts group, and some actors and supporting artists as character and background roles.

The episodes are due to broadcast in November on Yesterday Channel.
