Royal Armouries - 2 of 2 - Knight At The Museum

» As part of their ongoing research, ID Fight Unit members Daniel Tyler-Smith and Ronin Traynor were afforded the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Royal Armouries Museum. The Armouries collection contains over 70,000 objects of which a large proportion are not on public display but make up the Armouries study collection held in store.

ID Fight Unit member Angela Clare works as an Armouries researcher and was on hand to show the guys examples of the historical weapons which have captured the imaginations of audiences over the years on both stage and screen.

It was an invaluable experience exploring some of the weapons most commonly used by the ID Fight Unit, including rapiers, daggers, broadswords and small swords.
