East vs West

» ID Fight Unit members will be attending the annual Lion Workshop on the 6th and 7th of November, held by the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat at Caxton House near Archway, London.

This workshop has four classes each day suitable for beginners to advanced actor/combatants and gives students the opportunity to try something different and have some fun.

Previous classes have included knife and tankard, mass battle, smallsword foxtrot, Jedi vs Sith and bullwhip.

This year, classes will be influenced by Eastern vs Western weapons and styles.

Would a broadsword stand up to a katana, will Queensberry rules compare to Thai boxing, is a stick just a stick in the hands of monks from Europe or China?
