Angela Clare comes from a martial arts and historical combat background. She has performed on stage and screen with with a range of weapons, and in full-plate armour and on horseback. Over five years' training with John Waller and Andrew Deane at the Royal Armouries and giving live demonstrations with a range of weapons including rapper & dagger, small sword and two-handed sword.
Shodan in Kobudo, a Japanese weapons system based on JuJitsu, using the katana, naginata, tanbo and yawari to black belt and also gradings in bo, sai, nunchuku, as well as unarmed JuJitsu.
