[2010] As You Like It, Fight Arranger
“A lovelorn youth is not always easy to play sensibly but the wrestling scene (between the wrestler Charles and Orlando) not only produced the best choreographed wrestling I have seen in a play but helped to establish Orlando as someone whom one could well understand Rosalind finding irresistible.
~ Patrick Phillips – Reviewer from GB Productions/International Tour (2010)
The wrestling match was very well staged. I expected something rather unconvincing that wouldn’t fool a hardened Czech audience but the locals were clearly impressed.
~ Peter Toth – Reviewer from GB Theatre Company (2010)
"The wrestling scenes were superb; I was in the front and still winced."
~ Stella Phillipps – Reviewer from GB Theatre Company (2010)

[2009] Damian - Fall From Innocence, Arkhan & Fight Arranger
“My experience with Dan Styles as the fight director for my film project (‘Damian’) has been a worthwhile experience. I approached him with a cast that were not that familiar with screen combat and a very tight time frame but Dan and his team were able to make them look and feel really comfortable with their complex fight routines. I am very proud to have worked with Dan.”

“Dan Styles is an exceptional talent who made our production run smoothly in relation to fight choreography and stunt work and was very aware of health and safety. He understands cameras and was an excellent advisor to the director on the day to ensure gag’s and stunts worked first time.
We will be using Dan on Shadow boxer and our feature next year which is probably the best testimony to his work. You can call me personally on 07791-934741 if you wish to discuss further.”

[2009] The Three Musketeers, Fight Arranger
“Thank you so much for all your work on and help with the fights for ‘The Three Musketeers’ – You have been a superb trainer and given the cast a fantastic opportunity to learn a really exciting and challenging theatrical skill. We have really appreciated your careful thought and preparation before and after sessions, as well as your calm and humorous demeanour in the sessions themselves. It has really been a pleasure for all of us to work with you and we literally could not have done it without you.
“I am very happy with all your work – delighted with the ambition of it and that they are rising to that challenge. It is excellent that you are so keen to get things right and get the best out of them. Overall, I think the variety of the fights and their comedy element will be superb and make this a really memorable show!
“Huge thanks for all your work so far; it is clear that you have done a great deal of imagining and preparing before each session - and that makes all the difference”
~ Paul Harvey - Director from Berkhamstead School (2009)
[2012] Titus Groan, Fight Director
“I will recommend Dan's own services should you ever be in need of a fight choreographer for something. He choreographed me in my last piece of stage work, was truly excellent to work with, took clear note of what was doable and what wasn't, and made me look convincingly murderous and dangerous (not as easy as it may appear).”
~ Lee Ravitz – Actor from Blackshaw (2012)
